Every article starts with a concrete reader question. We favor official documentation, original research, public data, and firsthand observations. We link to sources near the claims they support and date substantial updates.
Automated tools may help with research, drafting, and formatting. A human review is required before publication. We do not publish unsupported factual claims or present generated material as firsthand testing.
How a claim gets into a post
- Prices and specifications come from the maker's own page, with the market, trim and date next to them
- Benchmarks are credited to the tester who ran them; this blog does not present them as its own measurements
- Calculations say they are calculations, with their inputs linked
- Community reactions link to the original post or comment and are described as one person's report, not consensus
- Opinion is labeled as opinion and kept apart from measured evidence
Corrections and contact
Report an error or ask a question in any article's comments or through the contact page. Corrections should be reflected in the article and its updated date. If advertising, affiliate links, or sponsorships are introduced, they will be labeled clearly and kept separate from editorial judgments.
Scope
Articles explain technologies and tradeoffs. They are informational and should be checked against current primary sources before making important purchasing, safety, or operational decisions.
